Spirit Night at Jefferson Pointe Chick-fil-A to support ACEP. Monday, April 16, 5:00-7:00 pm. Chikin #1!

Welcome to our new and improved webpage! The launch of this new website coincides with our celebration of serving Allen County for 20 years! So on behalf of everyone here at Allen County Education Partnership (ACEP), I want to thank you for your interest in our agency.

ACEP is a non-profit literacy organization located in Fort Wayne, IN. Our mission is to improve academic achievement for youth through business, community, and education partnerships. We accomplish this goal through our two main programs: Project READS and Parent Literacy Enrichment classes.

Project READS is an after school tutoring program for children in first through third grade who are reading below grade level. Students are paired with a trained volunteer for one hour each week at various locations throughout the city.

Parent Literacy Enrichment classes give parents grade level-appropriate tools and techniques for working with their child(ren) who is entering kindergarten through second grade. Parents who attend both two hour sessions take home approximately $100 worth of books and materials to help encourage and teach their child.

In addition, ACEP is a partner in many educational outreach programs including, the ITT Excellence in Education Awards and Rally to Read.
